In September 2018, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections changed their policy so that inmates may no longer received handwritten letters or books through the mail. We believe this to be a pretty devastating infraction against the rights to prisoners and we’re trying to amend their decision to allow books back into Pennsylvania prisons.
Below, you will find informational as well as practical resources for what will be our ongoing struggle trying to remediate this decision by the PA DOC.
